With that said, I think President Obama should get together some sanctions against the Nobel Prize board. They've opened up a whole new front of Obama ridicule that feeds into his reputation as an egomaniac. Some of this is warranted, but some of it isn't. But I still cannot help but think that the whole "Sasha and Malia woke me up with the news" meme is bull. He's the President of the United States, and I'm sure he knew about this in advance. If his ego was sufficiently in check, he would have asked them to not give him this award.
Quite frankly, I think this was his goal when he first decided to run (when he was in 2nd grade).
