The War Now Has A Name: Tea Party Conservatives vs. Dinner Party Conservatives

Will Collier has an excellent synopsis of the schism in the Republican party.  Although Rush has said this for years, it is nice to see another person recognize and verbalize it.

Speaking of Tea Parties, the nationwide Tea Party Movement is catching fire.  On April 15, thousands of people across the country will be joining Tea Party Protests in their respective cities.  I will be attending the Philadelphia Tea Party myself.  I'll get some good pictures and maybe do some "man on the street" interviews with my Flip camcorder.  I hope it is worth using a vacation day for.

Actions Have Consequences:  Energy Companies Leaving America For Switzerland After Obama Tax Hikes

But I'm sure President Obama will continue to target companies that "move our jobs overseas" even though it is his policies and policies of past Democrat Adminstrations that caused the companies to leave.

Earth to President Obama:  Companies leave the United States because we have the second highest corporate tax rates IN THE WORLD.  The only way you can bring jobs back is to lower the rates.  It is very simple, so simple that even a Harvard alum should be able to figure it out.

Panzramic Pizza Recipe

I fancy myself a bit of a culinary artist, and last night, I performed like one.  I went to Trader Joes to get my rations and decided that I'd make some home made pizza with Trader Joe's Frozen Naan (Indian Flat Bread).  I also purchased some fresh buffalo mozzarella (submerged in liquid to stay fresh), fresh basil, pizza sauce and sliced baby portobello mushrooms.

I cooked the mushrooms in a cast iron skillet with butter, salt, pepper and garlic and set them aside.  I cooked the Naan in the oven as instructed on the bag.  I removed the Naan from the oven and I spread the pizza sauce evenly around the crust.  I tore off chunks of the fresh mozzarella and spread it across the surface of the pie.  I added the mushrooms and baked my creation at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.  I removed it and sprinkled fresh basil on top.

It was delicious.  If you have the means, I highly recommend that you try it.

Flashback 9/11/01:  James Carville Says He Wants President Bush To Fail

This is just perfect, and on September 11, 2001 no less.  James Carville has been leading the charge against Rush Limbaugh for saying that he wanted Obama's policies to fail, and this surfaces to cover his alien-like face in fecal matter.

Schadenfreude!

Tax Cuts In Action:  China Cuts Taxes, Auto Sales Jump 25%

It makes me sick that a communist country is cutting taxes and we are raising them.  I'm sad to say this isn't a joke.

Senate RINOs Take Earmark Cash, Will Vote For Omnibus Spending Bill

These people are the exact type of people we need to purge from the Republican party.  How are principled conservative Republicans supposed to criticize earmarks when a bunch of spaghetti-spined RINOs keep undercutting their argument by doing exactly what we are criticizing Democrats for?

Move Over Rush:  Eric Cantor Is The New Target For Democrats

The Politico has the details here.  I think this is an interesting strategy for the Democrats.  Most Americans don't know who Eric Cantor is, so why not define him for the masses before he gets a chance to?

Democrats are playing hardball.  The Republicans would be served well by getting into the game themselves.  We will never convince these people to like us.  We need to be aggressive, ruthless and on message.  We need to present a stark contrast between us and Democrats.

Hopefully Mr. Cantor can help in these efforts.

Gutter Culture Update:  75 Year Old Saudi Woman To Be Beaten For Mingling With Men Who Delivered Bread

"Gutter Culture" Updates will be a new feature on Panzramic.  You are probably thinking to yourself, "Panzramic has been criticizing Islamo-nazism for as long as I can remember," and you would be right.  I just never made it an official update.

Read about the newest ridiculous thing to come out of the backwards Middle East.  They really do have a gutter (in the parlance of Louis Farrakhan) culture.

NAMBLA Puts Hit On NY AG Cuomo

The North American Man-Boy Love Association is offering $10,000 to the first person to shoot Attorney General Andrew Cuomo "in the face".  He's not a popular figure in the "pedophile community" because he likes to keep them in jail. Oh, what a world.

"The Boz" Arrested For DUI

I think his role in "Stone Cold" is probably a bigger offense than driving under the influence, but police in Hollywood made the arrest for DUI.

"That Was An Unfair Gesture!"

As some of you may know, I am a Professional Liability claims examiner.  Part of my job is to attend mediations.  Back in December, I attended one in Gaylord, MI.  I won't bore you with the details of the claim.  I'll only tell you that our insured was a real estate agent and she was being sued by the buyer and seller of a car wash.

For those of you who have never been to a mediation, it begins by each side giving their introductory statements about why they are at the mediation.  The seller's attorney began his speech and I sat and listened.  He was a lying the whole time.  I don't know how they do things in Michigan, but if people are blatantly lying to your face in Philadelphia, you usually call them out on it, or worse.

My frustration with his lying did not manifest itself verbally, but I was employing some non-verbal communication tactics.  I rolled my eyes and lightly smiled with each whopper the attorney vomited out.  Nobody in the room aside from the attorney and his client was aware of my gestures during their presentation.  I was being very discreet, but at the same time I was letting them know I didn't buy what they were selling.

The attorney eventually snapped.  He banged his hands on the table and pointed at me.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU???" he bellowed.

I sat there, staring into his eyes like an animal in the wild.

His volume rose and he yelled, "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU" again.  I continued to stare directly into his eyes.

I replied, in so many words, that I was the only person there with a checkbook and he should tread lightly if he wanted to resolve the matter.  He continued screaming.  The mediator tried to take control of the situation, which seemed to be spiraling out of control with each passing moment.

I sat in my chair with my hand on my chin, staring directly into this attorney's eyes.  He was becoming more and more furious as I sat there calmly.  Eventually, the mediator separated all of the parties.  As he was exiting the room, the attorney continued to remark how unprofessional I was (me, the guy sitting calmly as he screamed at me) and his client added "That was an unfair gesture" as he exited the room.  This statement came off like one of Chris Farley's responses to David Spade in "Tommy Boy".

They made a demand of 100,000 at the outset of the mediation.  They walked away with 18,000 and some serious attorney's fees.  What a great country.

Greatest Non Sequitur Ever Foisted Upon The American People

Charles Krauthammer has penned a masterful critique of President Barack Obama's budget deceit:

"Our economy did not fall into decline overnight," he averred. Indeed, it all began before the housing crisis. What did we do wrong? We are paying for past sins in three principal areas: energy, health care, and education -- importing too much oil and not finding new sources of energy (as in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and the Outer Continental Shelf?), not reforming health care, and tolerating too many bad schools.

The "day of reckoning" has now arrived. And because "it is only by understanding how we arrived at this moment that we'll be able to lift ourselves out of this predicament," Obama has come to redeem us with his far-seeing program of universal, heavily nationalized health care; a cap-and-trade tax on energy; and a major federalization of education with universal access to college as the goal.

Amazing. As an explanation of our current economic difficulties, this is total fantasy. As a cure for rapidly growing joblessness, a massive destruction of wealth, a deepening worldwide recession, this is perhaps the greatest non sequitur ever foisted upon the American people.

When President Obama said that ignoring healthcare, green energy and schools was the beginning of this crisis, I was dumbfounded.  I am happy that Mr. Krauthammer was able to verbalize my inner emotions on the subject.

Iraqi Stock Market Hits All Time High In Late February

In this economic climate, and it Iraq?  I didn't believe it either, until I read this.  I think it goes without saying that the Drive By Media did not report this.  It doesn't fit in with their "the Iraq war is a failure" template.  This is precisely the reason why conservative bloggers do what they do.

Non-Guillotine Quote of the Day

"The saying "give peace a chance" requires the belief in a fantasy world that we have yet to discover, whose inhabitants are all sufficiently good, lacking in any amount of evil.  The display of the saying "give peace a chance" should only be allowed in such a land." -Me, on the drive in to work today (3/5/09) after I saw a "give peace a chance" bumper sticker.

Rush Challenges Obama To Debate

"I'm calling.  I'm ready.  I'll do everything I can to facilitate it.  You're a very courageous man, Mr. President.  I am, after all, just The Last Man Standing.  If you take me out, if you can wipe me out in a debate and prove to the rest of America that what I say is senseless and wrong, do you realize you will own the United States of America? You will have no opposition.  You have America's media in your back pocket.  It's amazing."-Rush on today's show.

Will President Obama Accept?
